Proposed Industrial Action on 24 November 2022
Castlebrae Community Campus will be closed due to strike action on Thursday 22 November 2022. Due to employee rights regarding industrial action, we are unable to collate accurate advance information about which teacher colleagues will be striking on Thursday 24th November.
As most teaching staff are likely to be taking industrial action, Learning and Teaching will be affected for most learners.
- Young people should log on to Teams at the start of the school day to check if they have any scheduled lessons.
- If there are no lessons, Contingency Learning Grids are available on the CEC webpage:
www.edinburgh.gov.uk/homelearning – this page will continue to be updated.
- Alternative forms of learning including e-sgoil and ClickView links are also available on the CEC webpage above.
If industrial action is cancelled and schools are to be open, we will notify you as soon as possible.
