Health & Food Technology

Welcome to the Health and Food Technology Faculty of Castlebrae Community High School. We are extremely proud of the opportunities we provide for our learners in order to enhance their learning. We have a strong partnership with Edinburgh College which has created and supported a number of opportunities for our learners to demonstrate their Hospitality skills. Our learners have catered for the Business Breakfast, Adam&Company’s Christmas Party, led practical sessions at Edinburgh College and Queen Margaret University as well as serving lunch to the Lord Provost and local Councillors at the City Chambers.

This year some of our Senior learners have taken part in both the Rotary Young Chef Competition and Springboard Futurechef competition. Well done to Katie for making it to the Regional Final of Futurechef – we are very proud of you.
